THE DAY – Living in Light of Eternity
How to Stand at Ease on The Judgement Day
What I describe in this book is not some spiritual vision or a dream I had, nor something I saw on a recent visit to heaven, but rather it is something I have seen with the eyes of my heart as I have meditated upon the scriptures about the Judgment Day. It came to me as a young disciple during when I was going through a personal crisis, shaking me loose from my limited view of life. It forced me to begin to look up, toward the life to come. I began to see the realities of the Day, not with any dread, but with a deep longing.
Since then, I have that found that most Christians live their lives with little regard to the Judgment Day. Or when they do, it is as if it were something reserved only for sinners. Even fewer believe that we will be judged in an open way, in front of everyone, with all the details of our lives being revealed, showing how we really lived, including the very motives of our heart.
For that matter, not many believers give much thought to the reality of rewards being given for us for how we have lived, and that quality of our forever is determined entirely by choses we make here and now. Yet this concept has served as a primary motivator for my life and ministry for almost forty years. It has given me a lot of comfort in times of trouble, and I hope it will do the same for you.
- In this book we will explore:
- being born again does not make us home-free – it is just the beginning

and even the motives behind them
- everything is recorded in books
- how we can edit our life’s books now by faith
- we will see the life that could have been, what God wrote for us
- why it is important that we believe there is a literal hell
