I have had a desire to write this book for some time. I have come to love these short mission stories about the people and places I have experienced. My goal in writing this book has been to inspire others to step out to do missions. I wanted to show how by taking small steps, giving away what I had, becoming a missionary where I lived, and doing small acts of obedience all by faith, all led to a lifetime of adventure. One step would often lead to the next step. I did not wait until I had all the resources I needed before I began. I felt like one of the disciples giving away small pieces of loaves and fishes that Jesus blessed, watching it grew in my hand as I gave them away. Because of God’s blessing, we were able to feed a lot of people.

These stories also illustrate how the kingdom works. Jesus said the Kingdom is within us, so finding the right people made all the difference along the way. Without a team to help on both ends, nothing much would have been accomplished. I am always looking for people to partner with in ministry. I am like a broker, matching people with the need to give to those who are in need. If I am anything, I am a grace broker.

In this book, I simply share vignettes, or snapshots, of some of the things I experienced along the way. Some of these stories are not intended to make a point, but simply to share what had left an indelible impression on me after all these years. I hope it has the same effect on you, inspiring you to serve the Lord and to extend His Kingdom everywhere you go.

This book is about 150 pages in length and contains almost 80 photos from various trips around the world.
