In these pages, I recount how God called me to the ministry and guided my spiritual formation. He spoke to me at different junctures along the way. I don’t think it is an overstatement to say that the gift of prophecy has impacted my life more than anything else and continues to be a major source of inspiration to me all these years later.
 
The words spoken in those early days not only gave me the encouragement I needed at the time, but it gave me the grace to actually do what He had called me to do. This is what I call the word of His grace, which became my life message.When the apostle Paul said goodbye to the pastors on the beach near Ephesus, knowing he would never see them again, he commended them to God and to the word of His grace, which he knew was sufficient to see them through, doing in them all that needed to be done right to the end. Here is what he said, as taken from The Message: “Now I’m turning you over to God, our marvelous God whose gracious Word can make you into what he wants you to be and give you everything you could possibly need in this community of holy friends.” (Acts 20:23)
 
That is my experience as well, and my ongoing testimony, and I trust my story will awaken in you an expectation that He will do the same in your life.
